After winning the 2018 season of The Block, Hayden & Sara have been busy completing their biggest project yet – their forever home!

Nestled in a coastal village south of Sydney, Hayden & Sara’s home is a contemporary masterpiece. This multi-level home features breath-taking views of the New South Wales landscape and coastline.

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Director David Onesti took a closer look into this stunning property and interviewed Hayden & Sara. Talking through the project, their design decisions and all the challenges along the way, Hayden & Sara gave us a deeper insight into their dream home. They even chatted through their time on The Block!

Hayden & Sara’s contemporary home features New York Marble from CDK Stone on the kitchen benchtop and splashback. Situated on the top floor of this property, the kitchen flows from the living and dining areas right through to the outdoor living balcony. Ocean views and an abundance of natural light highlight this stunning natural stone, New York Marble certainly adds a luxury aura to this space.

The former Block winners have continued their signature brass look in their new kitchen. With brass tapware, cabinetry and brass detailing on the benchtop, Hayden & Sara extended their love of brass into their dream home.

Characterised by its bright white background, New York Marble’s focal point its intricate veining. This natural stone’s natural sparkle creates an alluring beauty with subtle highlights. New York Marble creates an illusion of depth with its striking veining and a hint of purple undertones. 

Hayden & Sara’s south coast home is a perfect, tranquil oceanside retreat. Throughout this project Hayden & Sara worked closely with CDK Stone to make their dream home a reality.
