Nestled in the homely suburb of Williamstown, sits the loving family home of Bec Douros that caters to the needs of her and her partner’s busy lifestyles whilst entertaining her bubbly and energetic children. Leading the design process was Bec Douros, creative director from Nectaar, who meticulously planned, designed, and built her forever home from the ground up to not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also incredibly functional as well.

As part of our captivating Designer Collaboration Series, we had the privilege of sitting down with Bec Douros from Nectaar to explore the captivating narrative and extraordinary journey behind her family’s forever home. Bec Douros was the driving force behind this project and reveals her design choices that has resulted in her and her family’s dream forever home.

CASSANDRA WALKER DESIGN

Located in the enchanting suburb of Malvern, this exquisite home is a hidden gem that has been methodically crafted to create a stunning and sophisticated family abode. Leading the design process was Cassie Walker, the talented designer from Cassandra Walker Design, who played a crucial role in the planning and creation of this extraordinary residence. The focal point of this home is the magnificent Bianco Carrara Marble, which flows throughout the interior.

Nestled along the picturesque Sydney Harbour lies this luxurious and unparalleled residence, a masterpiece that has been meticulously crafted over the course of several years. Tim Carrington of B.E Architecture, a highly regarded architect, has played a pivotal role in creating this magnificent six-level beachfront home. The exquisite Arabescato Vagli Marble plays a pivotal role in this remarkable home, effortlessly weaving its way through the kitchen, ensuite, fireplace, and BBQ areas.

ALISA & LYSANDRA’S
FOREVER HOMES

Nestled in the charming suburb of Somerton Park, South Australia, you’ll find the family homes of Alisa and Lysandra Fraser. Alisa’s home boasts the stunning elegance of Turco Argento Limestone, while Lysandra’s abode combines the beauty of Turco Argento Limestone with the allure of New Savior Limestone. These Natural Stones enhance the beauty of every space, perfectly reflecting the discerning interior design styles that Alisa and Lysandra embody.

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, Architectural Sales Consultant Gabby Sbrissa took a deeper look into both properties with both Alisa and Lysandra. Gabby discussed with both Alisa and Lysandra their design decisions whilst also unravelling the similarities and differences in their personal design choices.

CLAIRE KNEEBONE AND
PRESS* FOOD & WINE

Situated in the heart of Adelaide is Press* Food & Wine, a food and wine institution that has been around for many years. Decorated by Claire Kneebone of Claire Kneebone Studios, this well-established designer has helped in creating an element of surprise for the people of Adelaide with this light and vibrant space that offers an intimate dining experience. Featured amongst the bar and on a larger dining table is Cello Marble. Having originally designed this space twelve years before, Claire was excited by the opportunity to redesign the space to better match Press* Food & Wine’s personality and energy. 

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Stone Director Tony Victor took a deeper look into this elegant property with Claire. Being the lead on this project, Claire was able to talk through her design decisions and how this project came together.

OLIVIA CIROCCO FROM
GIA RENOVATIONS

Found in the homely suburb of Malvern in Melbourne, where a mix of both opulent period, and modern homes line every street, is this one-of-a-kind home that combines the best of both. Crafted by Design Manager Olivia Cirocco from GIA Renovations, Olivia has helped in creating a home that is sympathetic to the area, whilst retaining the qualities of a family home whilst featuring Super White Dolomite in the kitchen and Verde Oceania Marble.

COTCHIN’S HOME BY
MORGAN FERRY DESIGN

Situated in the inner-city suburbs of Moonee Ponds sits this unique and elegant family home that has been perfectly crafted to suit the needs of triple-premiership Richmond FC Captain and Brownlow Medallist, Trent Cotchin, and businesswoman and popular influencer, Brooke Cotchin. Keeping the theme of family central in this project, Brooke enlisted help from one of her own family members, Morgan Ferry, to help in creating her and Trent’s dream home.

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Stone Director Tony Victor took a deeper look into this breath-taking property and interviewed Morgan Ferry, and Trent and Brooke Cotchin. Working closely together on this project, Morgan, Trent, and Brooke were able to talk through their design decisions and how this project came together.

THE TAILORED STUDIO’S
LOMBRA PROJECT

Located in the hidden gem of Adelaide’s West Lakes, this a one-of-a-kind Italian restaurant known as Lombra that is a cantina, pizzeria and cucina all rolled into one. Designers Amalia and Danielle from The Tailored Studio have worked together to create a space that exudes Italian culture from the variety of colours used, the soft curves adopted and the breath-taking natural stone.

STUDIO GRAM’S
FUGAZZI MASTERPIECE

Set in the heart of the city, Fugazzi is Adelaide’s premier bar and dining experience. Designed by Studio Gram, this masterpiece is the perfect homage to old school New York, Italian style dining with a contemporary flair. Featured in this space is Rosso Levanto Marble, Calacatta Viola Marble and Nero Marquina Marble. Creating a stunning focal-point throughout the restaurant and bar, these natural stones add an unmatched depth and texture to this space.

KENT STRINGER INTERIOR DESIGN

Situated in Melbourne’s Albert Park, this latest masterpiece from Kent Stringer Interior Design is the epitome of contemporary, inner-city design. Featured in this breath-taking home is Mont Blanc Quartzite, Rosa Calmante Quartzite, Orvieto Dolomite, Thasos Marble and Jet Black Granite from CDK Stone. Combining the natural beauty found in each stone with contemporary design, this home is truly a work of art.

FOREVER HOME

After winning the 2018 season of The Block, Hayden & Sara have been busy completing their biggest project yet – their forever home!

Nestled in a coastal village south of Sydney, Hayden & Sara’s home is a contemporary masterpiece. This multi-level home features breath-taking views of the New South Wales landscape and coastline.

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Director David Onesti took a closer look into this stunning property and interviewed Hayden & Sara. Talking through the project, their design decisions and all the challenges along the way, Hayden & Sara gave us a deeper inside into their dream home. HEADLAND PROPERTY

Perched on a clifftop in Gerringong on New South Wales’ South Coast, the Dovecote estate pushes the boundaries of design and ushers in a new level of luxury accommodation into Australia. Set on 150 acres of oceanfront farmland, Dovecote offers two immaculate & award-winning accommodations with unsurpassed views of the ocean and rural Australian landscape.
