Once a renowned Tie Factory, this remarkable space has been reimagined into a stunning Brooklyn New York-style residence, seamlessly blending its appealing original features with contemporary amenities and design elements. Rachel Bickerton, developer of BuildHer Collective and lead renovator, along with the help of Rebeka Morgan, director and founder, has masterfully transformed this unique shaped office into a stylish and classy home that is perfectly fit for a growing family. Unlike any other on the block, this home boasts a distinctive floorplan that converges at a corner, and so these careful renovations ensure both beauty and thoughtful functionality. The true hero of this space is the Calacatta Verde Marble kitchen island that sits on the kitchen benchtop and splashback. This superb feature harmonises the home, creating an atmosphere that captures the essence of a Brooklyn loft while honouring the building’s original character.

As part of the Captivating Spaces Series, CDK Stone Architectural Sales Consultant Olivia Porter spoke to both Rachel and Rebeka about the well thought out renovations to this building, and the different stages and challenges that were faced during this process.

The TC425 saw is the only machine in its category with 6 integrated tools for total autonomy: a saw blade, separate core drill, a separate high speed router, Thibaut’s exclusive ACS jig saw (optional) or a second high speed router (optional) and vacuum manipulator to move the sawn pieces, as well as the possibility to produce textured finishes.
