Jumping straight into their next renovation series, the team at Norsu Interiors wanted to give back to their local community with their next project. With an interiors shop located in Malvern East, Melbourne, the team at Norsu Interiors knew of a local family that desperately needed an uplift of their home as their family significantly grew as they fostered children desperately in need!

Meet Jess and Andrew! Aside from parenting their three biological children, Jess and Andrew also foster children that are in need of a loving home. Fostering children through the Berry Street organisation, Jess and Andrew have been fostering children for serval years. Having taken care of a young brother and sister, Jess and Andrew decided to provide a permanent home for these special siblings. With their family already at five and now growing to seven overnight, Jess and Andrew’s run-down home needed a drastic makeover to accommodate these new additions

With many suppliers and local tradespeople joining this charitable cause, Norsu Interiors were able to provide this family with a brand-new, redesigned kitchen, updated bedrooms and even a tiny house in their backyard to accommodate their oldest child. CDK Stone and Neolith were proud to join this cause and supply Neolith Blanco Carrara, as well as, tools, stone working equipment and logistics for this generous family’s kitchen.

Waiting for that perfect project, the team at Norsu Interiors have wanted to work with CDK Stone for a very long time. Having visited our Moorabbin Selection Centre, the Norsu team fell in love with Neolith Blanco Carrara and felt it was the perfect fit for this family home.

Paying perfect homage to the classic Italian marble, Neolith Blanco Carrara engulfs this kitchen with a chic and playful aura. Neolith’s characteristics mean this stone’s captivating beauty will be loved for years and can withstand the hustle and bustle of five kids.

Designed entirely by Norsu Interiors team and fabricated by Stonelux, this Neolith Blanco Carrara benchtop perfectly harmonises the pink, penny-round tiles, natural timber hues and white cabinetry. Characterised by its distinct, falling veining, this Sintered Stone’s bright background highlights its deep, shadowy grey tones.

The Norsu team chose Neolith because of its advanced technical characteristics that were ideal for this growing family. They were drawn to Neolith’s ability to perform in the most demanding applications and that it was scratch and stain resistant. Also drawn to the natural beauty, the Norsu team also loved that it was constructed with all natural materials.

Highlighted in this contemporary design, Blanco Carrara adds a subtle texture to this space. Creating a consistent style across the benchtops, this kitchen demonstrates how adaptable Blanco Carrara is too different styles.

Being scratch, stain and heat resistant, as well as easy to clean, Neolith is ideal for use in the most demanding kitchens. Throughout this entire space Neolith Blanco Carrara portrays a soft grey veining that echoes a gentle and tranquil aura.

With a tranquil and playful space, this family is now ready to serve up some love to these deserving kids. Having created an amazing space, the team at Norsu Interiors have outdone themselves with this charitable initiative. CDK Stone and Neolith were proud to be a part of this project that gave back to a very generous family.
